I’m going to disagree with you. It takes me so long to lose 2kg but I can put it on easily in a couple of days. Yo yo dieting and menopause has done it for me.

I'm loving the absolutely fantastic robust mission medical professionals & nutritionists etc are on to bring peri&menopause solutions into the forefront for women to thrive in the last third of our lives. But, I am noticing on social media ‘the story’ we are beginning to tell ourselves to let us off the hook for our weight gain etc. I'm officially in Peri now at 52 and started on MHT last week. I know my 8kg weight gain in the last 12 months is because I didn't take care of myself. I'm not blaming Peri, I'm learning all I can about how to best tackle it. Peri is definitely affecting me - brain fog, memory loss, pain in my body, but I dealt with it by over-eating and not keeping up my exercise lifestyle. I'm getting balance back with good food, exercising every day again & my Peri-Peri Sauce (MHT 😉) - I already feel great! I won't let my story of peri, hold me back. This is going to be an awesome period of my life. Thanks for your post, I really hope it helps your audience take hold of their power. 😊

Agreed. I found that video triggering. I’m 40 currently losing 900g/week during my follicular to early luteal phase by just a calorie deficit/macros. If you believe you can’t, you can’t. Thanks 🙏
