Aren't sarees kind of movement restricting? Everytime I see a lady wearing a saree, I imagine myself in it and start feeling claustrophobic lmao I'd just ask a girl but Idk anybody that wears one

I think the main thing in Islamic dress is modesty...so if the sari covers your aurah then it cud be worn.

I am from Rawalpindi Pakistan. I have only seen handful of ladies wearing Sarees in the weddings only. Not common in my province Punjab though.

my grandma wore a sari all my life. and she was the most religious person i knew. this is crazy i’ve never heard of sari’s being immodest, they’re literally very modest

In my childhood, most women (in Karachi) mostly wore sarees. My mother always did. She never stopped wearing them.
