I’m near Stettler. I’ve swathed corn lots. I’ve swathed grazed it. They eat the cobs down more evenly. No need to fence and no worries of bloat

Need to do first pass with roundup/ lontrel, second pass with roundup, pardner and laudis. Only way to clean up corn. Should be cheaper than Armezon/ aatrex. And sortan is NFG

We chopped some corn for our neighbour who floated peas on after planting. our Deere header cut it just fine. Don’t see why canola would be a problem🤷♂️

I swath paths in our corn for grazing. Helps make the paddocks even. There are also a few guys in my area that swath and bale the corn and feed it that way.

we had to do it one year for a customer because we got snow and really strong wind which blew all of his one variety corn over so we had to do the same thing

Good feed! My fields with a green combine look worse than that this year lol. Pretty sure it’s chalked up to the late rains and regrowth

With corn it needs to be clean early and need to do some broadleaf residual herbicides likes Heat LQ at 30 acre rate in the spring pre plant. And then need to add stuff to glyphosate at post emerge
