in GA and have a farm loan through agsouth. they didn't even ask what we were doing w our 20 acres. it was just deemed farming bc it was over 7 acres.

Thanks for sharing. grants for things like growing native plants on your land and making it available to the public a few times a year. Local colleges may have a co-op where you invite to do workshops

my loan is a USDA loan and they got real mad when I told them about farming. "you can't make money off of the land!" 💀 I said fine I'm a hobby farm LOL

USDA loans is how I bought my first home. I only needed 2K down and we were able to buy a 3 bdrm 2 bath house! It was awesome.
