Resting energy expenditure: How many calories your body burns by just sitting there doing nothing. Just existing. 2. Exercise activity thermogenesis: Burning calories by exercising. 3. Non exercise activity thermogenesis: How many calories your body burn by any activity that is not exercising. (Chores, fidgeting, playing with the kids, etc). 4. Eating less does NOT always mean fat loss or even wt loss. It’s all about balanced macros. Eating 2,500 kcals a day in candy vs eating 2,500 in a balanced macro diet produces two different results.
