@thenewsmovement: Kamala Harris’s team are in talks to appear on The Joe Rogan Experience. The highly controversial MMA commentator has the biggest podcast in the US. In March, Spotify released figures that Rogan had 14.5 million followers, just shy of 10 million more than the next podcast. The podcast date has not yet been set or confirmed but the Harris team met with Rogan’s team to discuss last week. Media Monitor reported in 2020 that Joe Rogan’s audience was 71% male and the average age was 24. Nate Silver, founder of FiveThirtyEight polling company, has encouraged Harris to do the interview with Rogan. Saying on his blog that Rogan’s audience are “young, male, and politically independent. You’ll find far more undecided voters here than in the 60 Minutes crowd.” The Vice President appeared on Spotify's second biggest podcast, Call Her Daddy, with Alex Cooper last week. The move to appear on Joe Rogan is in line with the trend of both Presidential candidates, as Trump has appeared on many podcasts in the ‘manosphere’.
