Our HOA makes night patrols and issues a $50 per day fine if you have a light bulb out on any of your outdoor lights. Insane.

I’d just have a lawyer draft a letter saying the changes were approved by the HOA at the time as evidenced by no citation being made for 18 years. Not her fault they’re record keeping is lacking
