Parents use electronics as a pacifier the entire child’s life to occupy them so you don’t have to parent. I’m not justifying the child’s behavior but like Dr Phil says why wouldn’t they behave this way? The parents need to parent and be present in the child’s life and stop using electronics as a pacifier and then a weapon of punishment and expect the child not too rebel.
