YESS! Japanese soy sauces tends to be lighter than chinese soy sauce which has a richer, darker flavor i find. it all depends on what you’re cooking and what you like!

You’re talking about 1T soy and I dont want 6 types of soy sauce sitting around depending on which dish im making. too many condiments. Salsa as the main sauce is totally different
