What I did when I first got my back pack is I made sure everything was out of it so it was loose then pulled it opened as much as I could like pushing the bag part away from the pocket if that makes 1

I have a jansport but mine fits bc it's the mesh pocket so if your tired of carrying it around I highly recommend the mesh pockets (it's the same thing but diffrent fabric ig and like holes)
