mechanical vs electronic I would beat if you know your way around a B model pretty well its easy to the owner/operator. may be more steps but not necessarily harder.

Couldn’t agree with you more, BUT B model, air/air is a damn good motor and if you know how to work on it. It is a wonderful motor. One of caterpillar’s best motors ever but the 5EK is a damn good !

And don’t forget about injector line clamps, 1 clamp can fall off and it’ll break a line usually at the flare/nut
