I’m jealous. I worked at B&BW & had to work x-mas Eve but called out bc I had the flu … no one would cover so she told me I had to come in or I’d lose my job … I went to the ER right after 🙃🙃

I feel this in my soul. I called my manager & busted out crying because I was feeling so depressed. I told him I couldn’t “fake it” with customers that day. 😭 He was totally ok with it! ❤️

I took a mental health day on Monday and my boss was SO empathetic about it that it shocked tf out of me. It should be the norm. 🤍

I didn't quite understand this before as I'd almost always had awesome bosses, then I became one. My employees get surprised that I let them take days off, let them call out, go home early, no problem
