I’ve lived in Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto and London, UK and really like living in Edmonton. Coming for 3 days hardly makes you an expert. Amazing summers, great food and lots to do in general.

There are positive and negatives to each area. I lived in Edmonton for a year and that was enough for me. The universities are good and their sports teams are great. But I really don’t like how it is

We left Delta for Edmonton, rented for 2 year, then bought a house in the country. 200k for a house. quiet living. love it. The lower mainland is NUTS in so many ways.

If you live in YEG, you don’t spend much time downtown. There’s a lot of great new restaurants popping up in the city. Edmonton is a city where you have to drive. It’s not centralized. Once you drive YEG, you’ll find all the hidden gems.

Edmonton recently already had a rush of bc ppl come out and stupidly overpay 100k on townhouses and detached. A bunch of idiots going to get burned. I’m looking at places right now with my agent.
