My kid is a talker. Just like I was. While it drives me nuts occasionally (especially when my head hurts), I love talking to her! I wish my mom had listened when I chatted as a kid

ive seen similar advice that said if you HAVE to take a break for some reason always stop in the middle of a task not the end of a task its easier to continue the task then to start the next one
