this is why we only tease our DR'S Dice rolls (we swear our DM is cursed with low rolls on boss fights, even when using a deck of plying cards in place of dice)

my players learned that, for some reason, when I'm the DM I roll crits at an absurd rate. how you ask? they said I needed to go harder on combats, so I lowered the screen and just started rolling publicly for combats. this was 5-6 years ago, one of my players STILL takes adamantine armour in my campaigns and oneshots xD
