Your complex needs to remedy this. When you have to be out of the unit so they can handle they SHOULD be paying for a hotel or provide other safe unit.

I would start by getting a hold of the apartment complex to try to get them to fix the issue it's probably just a small leak. but if they don't fix it contact the health department.
