Mine is only 9-5! Also why don’t they sell prepaid satchels in supermarkets? I’m sick of lining up for an hour behind someone trying to pay their bills in 5c coins and missing work 😭

Aus Post is Government owned and the standard trading hours in Australia are 9-5. Same reason you won’t see Service NSW, Medicare, centerlink ect open past these hours.

mines 9-5, other one is 6:30am-6pm but all my parcels go to the 9-5 🥲 mum works for auspost (parcel queen) and works 3am-4:30pm QUEEN 🫶🏽

Same for doctors appointments for full time workers.. some beauty appointments can be weekends but pushed to use your lunch hour NO THANKS

I use work at the post office, there is no actual reason they close at 5 . I know when I was working there we have the the choice of late night Thursdays or 9-1pm Saturdays and majority of employees picked Saturday to be opened

My old post office was only open 8-4, mon-fri. I’d start work at 9 but would have to leave home at 7:30 to get to work. Leave at 5. I had to book LEAVE just to pick up my package.

It’s almost like TikTok read my mind I was just thinking this 😂 as a small business when we get orders after 2pm we could get them out the same day if it was open past 5pm 🫠🫠🫠

💯 agree it’s ridiculous that they only open until 5, the only way you can pick up a parcel is to go to work late or leave work early. It’s a terrible system and needs updating asap.
