You cannot fly at 36 plus weeks. You need a letter actually from your dr starting at 25 weeks to avoid just this. This lady was in the wrong.

I looked it up and they can if your beyond 36 weeks, she needs a letter from Dr allowing her to be able to fly, I kinda understand but they should've asked her before boarding!

Depending on the airline some have policies saying that if you are 36 weeks you need a note from a doctor. It isn’t recommended you fly after 36 weeks.

you can't fly that long in the pregnancy because it's not safe. also the altitude can cause labor
