POV: You liked Heeseung ever since you were kids, starting when your brother introduced him to you at the playground. The first time you saw him, he gave you a warm smile that made your heart race faster than a cheetah. Heeseung was a year older than you, just like your brother, Sunghoon. You often saw Heeseung at your house, playing video games with Sunghoon, and he even stayed for dinner sometimes because your mom treated Heeseung like a son as well. — You were in class, reading a book and listening to music through your headphones, when there was a knock on the classroom door. When your friends came over to your table, Chae shouted in disbelief, "Was Heeseung at your house?!" "Yeah, I guess, since my brother and he play video games overnight," you replied. "Dang, you’re so lucky to be Sunghoon Park’s sibling and be close with Heeseung Lee. What a dream life," Charlotte sighed. — While sitting comfortably on the couch in your living room, scrolling through social media, the door opened, revealing your brother and his friends, including Heeseung. They walked into the living room to play games. "Hey, Y/N, what's up?" Jake said as he sat down beside you, smiling. "I'm good," you smiled back at him. You glanced at Heeseung, who sat beside Sunghoon on the other couch. "It's almost prom, Y/N. Who are you going with?" Jake asked as he looked at you. "Not really sure yet, hyung," you said. "Oh, yeah. Jake, can you come with me to the store to buy something Mom asked for?" Sunghoon asked as he grabbed his car keys. "Okay. Heeseung, Y/N, you guys coming?" Jake asked as he got ready to leave through the front door. "Nah, too lazy," you said, followed by Heeseung's reply, "I'm good, bro. I'll stay with Y/N." As Sunghoon and Jake left, leaving you and Heeseung alone, Heeseung decided to break the silence. "So, are you taking Niki as your prom date this year?" he asked as he looked at you. "Huh? I'm not—what do you mean?" you asked back. "I heard you're dating him right now," he pouted slightly and turned his head so you wouldn't see, making you chuckle. "We're not dating, plus I don't have a date for prom," you said. "Oh, my bad. That's good, then," he sighed in relief. You raised your eyebrows. "Why are you curious, though?" you asked. "Me, curious? Nah," Heeseung said, raising his hands in defense. You laughed at him. "I was thinking if, oh, uh," Heeseung said as he looked at you, "if I could take you to prom?" he asked. You blinked, a little surprised by his question. "You want to take me to prom? Why me, though?" Heeseung shrugged, trying to play it cool. "Yeah, why not? I figured it’d be fun if we went together. I mean, we're close friends, and we've known each other since we were kids." You smiled, feeling your cheeks warm up. "I mean, if you want to." He grinned, his eyes brightening. "Alright, it’s a plan then." He leaned back on the couch, looking relieved that you agreed. Just then, the front door opened, and Sunghoon and Jake returned, carrying a few bags. Sunghoon’s eyes landed on you and Heeseung, a slight frown forming. "What’s going on here?" Heeseung quickly sat up straight, pretending to be casual. "Just talking about prom."
