@thegardenbutler: Total Garden renovation in 90 seconds!! ⚠️Flash Warning⚠️ I did this job for my brother and his fiance, Jamie. This job took over 8 days to complete but we had no access for a digger or any large machinery, which means that the majority was dug out by hand. No more than 2 people worked on this job every day! It was backbreaking stuff, but it was nice to work closely with my brother for the first couple of days and then again for the last couple to complete. Doing it by hand means that we saved money on hiring machines, and got a free workout too. Things that I have learnt from this job: -Use a spacer when laying down slabs so all the grouting lines are uniform in width. Don't eyeball it! Some of the grouting lines are massive and others are thin... -Plan better, we were held up by waiting on materials, and getting the skip gone. Otherwise I am really happy with how this job turned out! It was my first ever sandstone job and hopefully not the last🤞 I know I am going to get absolutely rinsed by professional landscapers but I will appreciate any feedback, even if it's ruthless😂 I posted the before and after pictures on my IG profile and there were some really great suggestions, but if you haven't made a comment yet I would love to hear it! What would you do now in this garden?
