I'm pro the idea, but Liz has given me some doubt esp re the state of our healthcare system. I'll want it for myself though when the time is right, rather than going down some other desperate route.

I understand why it’s a sensitive subject especially if it’s used for the wrong reasons by family members (inheritance) but we can make the decision on behalf of our pets who can’t say yes or no 🙈

I’ve worked in elderly care, there are some relatives who are awful and would coerce people to go quicker, it is open to abuse but I also think that there has to be a way of people to take control

can we put it out there that she lives a very very fulfilled life. she can talk. she can live a fulfilled life. therefore I am not sure she should have such a platform to talk about it

angry!! it's not about the dying it's about 'existing ' knowing your dying and suffering or a massive change in quality of life. No amount of hospice can change that journey. yes they can make you 'comfortable '. Is being made comfortable giving you a quality of life. why should this even be a law. it's a personal decision

Watched my grandad die a long and painful death from metastatic prostate and bone cancer with Parkinson’s disease. Inhumane. He would have preferred the option to end his own life.

Respectfully, but Liz being disabled doesn’t mean she can speak for the population. It’s fair to worry about safeguards but the need for safeguards

I completely understand where she's coming from, the DNR scandal during covid was disgusting but I've heard people beg to die from horrific cancer pain that became pain relief resistant....
