There's no need of milk with a traditional sikwate made from tableya because the baterol will do the part of making it creamy by whisking it fast. A friend (hello Vanessa) from Bohol thought me how to whisk well the tableya (table-ja [as Boholanons called it]) with just water, but I just added coconut milk as we, Romblomanon, esp. my lola Maria used to make sikwate with coconut milk.
