The visit was made to highlight the close bond between both countries both culturally as well as politically and economically 💕🇫🇷🇧🇪 On the first day Mathilde and Philippe drove by train to Paris and got greeted by the French president @emmanuelmacron and his wife. Together they went to the Arc de Triumph and layed down a wreath for fallen soliders. In the evening a state banquet was held 💖 The second day the King and Queen made some engagements on Paris and visited an exhibition on Belgian and French artists. In the evening they hosted a dinner in the embassy. On the third and final day the couple made their way to Lille and had several engagements there 😍 What was your highlight?
