Your GP should be referring you to a specialist (in this case an endocrinologist) if there are concerns of PCOS, etc.

All of my bloodwork is normal and I don’t present to have PCOS when looking at me, you need an ultrasound to really tell

Get an ultrasound of your ovaries too to be sure! My hormones are pretty good but i have polycystic ovaries and hormonal acne!

You need to go to a gynecologist to determine if you have PCOS or not.. they will most likely do a pelvic ultrasound of your ovaries

I mean generally when ur an adult the dr isn’t looking for milestones anymore so it’s uncommon to go for just a checkup. Adults usually only see doctors if experiencing symptoms or chronic illness

I went to multiple pcps and obgyns who didn’t dx me with pcos but the endocrinologist finally dx me with pcos after 14 years of dealing with it 🤪

I had two doctors tell me I didn’t have PCOS until finally one did. I knew something was off. It’s a broad spectrum and can look very different for everyone so it’s not always clear to diagnose
