I moved back to California two years ago to take care of my parents. My mom has since passed, but I’m here taking care of my dad every day.💜

Me and my sister take care of my Dad who will be 84 in December, he can’t walk due to a stroke, luckily we work from home. But it is a challenge. Nursing home not a choice.

My mother likes her independence so when she was ready to move out of her home, my sister and I found a senior living community and she loves it. She has like a 1 bedroom apt it’s a nice facility

I agree with you 1000%. I worked in the nursing home for a few years and saw this a lot. It broke my heart. My parents live very close to me and we see them regularly.

My mom has 15 kids 13 living. 3 of us take her to appts. Most give her $ for holidays and even though she wasn’t perfect we know she did her best.
