@kennybelikewater: Did LEGO® go too far with its Jabba’s Palace set? In 2016, Turkish groups in Austria have filed a complaint against LEGO®’s Jabba’s Palace set, claiming it looks like Istanbul’s iconic mosques , the Hagia Sophia. They argue that the design and the portrayal of Jabba the Hutt as a villain reinforce negative stereotypes about Muslims. Should the criticism be directed at George Lucas, the creator of the Star Wars universe, for filming Jabba’s scenes in predominantly Muslim Tunisia? Is this all a misunderstanding?
