🐘🦒🦏 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗴 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗶 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 🦛🐆🦓 What animals can you spot in the reel? I had such an incredible time on the game drives in Pilanesberg National Park. I saw so many wild animals, some animals for the first time. I was not expecting to see a leopard walking in front of our car, a lioness chasing a zebra, hippo’s feet and giraffe licking another giraffe’s pee. Seeing the wild animals here was so much different than watching it on tv or at a zoo. I managed to see 4 out of the big 5 which was awesome! The only one I didn’t see was the buffalo which our guide say they are normally very north of the park and it would be too far to go there and back. I was so surprised how big the park was too! I went on 4 game drives during my stay and each one was full of suprised. My friend and her family have been to so many and you never get bored. Apparently lots of people living locally just drive in on the weekends, what a great park to go to! You can do a self drive or with a guide. The benefits of being with a guide is, they can communicate with other guides to know where certain animals are at. They also have great knowledge of the animals and the park itself. They know the roads more so can get to a location quicker. I had such a fun time and I would 100% come back again. Did I start singing Hakuna Matata when I saw warthogs and mongooses? Of course I did. Did I want to sing I can’t just wait to be king when I saw some lion cubs? Yup, but didn’t cause we had to be quiet haha!
