5 month old goes to bed at 7 then wakes at 10 every night and spends 1/2 hours being resettled back to sleep, no feeding

My 9.5MO has been putting herself to sleep for naps for 5ish months and without a doubt cries her heart out for 10 mins before sleeping. Even when we go into the room she starts crying. Why? Does this stop? 😔😔😔😔
