Sis, the only way you’re going to get fuller hair is with smaller sections. If braiding is too effortful do lots of little twists, using a foam like one from the doux or nairobi

I recommend doing cornrows in the direction you want the hair to fall and do at least 6 or 8. Your hair won’t be big because it’s fine but it’ll be more defined and have a little more volume

You’re gonna need 8 braids lol. I do 10, but I think 8 is good enough. Take a little conditioner or styling cream and smooth down your edges and hair between your braids and roots.

Ok here’s a long one but it might bang. It’s very hit and miss. Get your usual styling products. Do finger width twists, more twists on the thinner parts. Then when you take them down.

Beautiful hair. In my experience, our hair type will set well using a cream and sealing with oil. I agree with doing smaller braids to make your hair look more voluminous. ❤️

you don’t need to blow it out! not worth the damage. a good mousse and gel is fine. when you untwist them. do it gently and have oil on your fingertips.

after washing and deep conditioning w/ over head dryer, do your LCO, braid it and SIT UNDER A HOODED DRYER. this is key. letting it air dry doesn't let the curls dry right

take a hair pick or afro comb and use it at the roots to make the hairs fuller. you can also do it a bit at the tips of your hair to it seperates properly
