the air bass was more Paul's go to trick. Lennon used the chromatic descent more. all those song examples are chromatic descents

I'm not a JL fan, but this is a relatively standard technique in pop, cinematic music etc. Nothing plagiarising about it at all. It's like saying Back used a Cm6, therefore anyone else is stealing.

I mean.. when you start on a C chord for example, your sequence can either go up or down.. so it's all about the punctuation and the cleverness of the melody. its not exactly copying?!?

Never realised John Lennon 😳 got his inspiration alot of the time from classical 🎶 music particularly Bach. Heard Keith Richards bigging up Bach, now it all makes sense.
