📍Burg Hohenzollern During my recent travels through Germany, I had the incredible opportunity to visit Burg Hohenzollern, a castle that left me absolutely spellbound. It’s rare to find a place that leaves you with nothing but the word “amazing” to describe it, but that’s exactly how I felt as I stood within the walls of this historic marvel. Even though the weather was a bit windy during my visit, the gusts of wind seemed to only enhance the experience, making the atmosphere even more dramatic as I took in the breathtaking views and majestic architecture of this extraordinary place. So, a little background on this place. Burg Hohenzollern is located in the Swabian Alps in southern Germany, and it’s the ancestral seat of the Hohenzollern family—a dynasty that played a massive role in German history. This castle, the third one to be built on this site, was completed in 1867 and was designed in a neo-Gothic style, which gives it that fairy-tale look that’s straight out of a movie. Inside, the castle is just as impressive. The grand halls, royal chambers, and historical artifacts, including the Prussian King’s crown, make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. Every detail, from the stained glass windows to the ornate furniture, is exquisite. One of the best parts was the view. Even on a windy day, the panoramic vistas of the surrounding countryside were stunning, adding an extra layer of drama to the visit. Now, the entry fee is a bit higher than some other castles, like Castle Braunfels, but it’s totally worth it. If you’re ever in Germany, you’ve got to check out Burg Hohenzollern. Whether you’re into history, architecture, or just love beautiful places, this castle is a must-visit. Thanks for tuning in, and I’ll see you in the next vlog! 🤩I can’t wait to share the pictures of this castle in my next post, so you can see for yourself just how beautiful it is🥰🏵️🪄 #Travel #Germany #Castle #BurgHohenzollern #Adventure #History #TravelPhotography #Wanderlust #Explore #TravelGram #burghohenzollern #burg#hohenzollern #turism #castlesofgermany #historicplaces #wanderlust #🏰 #castlelife #travelgermany#fairytale
