they replaced the transmission and fuse box but that didn't fix the problem. The TCM was the issue, you have to be careful who works on your vehicle because the owner paid for those parts and labors

the internal lead frames like to break on those tcms. push downward on the connector and it will probably start communicating. It's an easy check to bypass circuit testing.
