PLEASE make sure you are using a HEAT resistance rubber spatula. You will burn one meant for like baking and cold cooking.

I got tweezers tongs last year and I now use them for about 95% of my tong-ing. And agree on stainless steel, even though I also use enameled cast iron. I tried carbon steel but it’s a chore.

side note with rubber spatulas, if spatula and handle ever become separated, or can be separated, mold can and WILL grow, so be sure to let them dry separated. imma say separated one more time~

Santoku style knives are my favourite, 1 large 1 small is all I use. I don’t know how to explain why they’re perfect but the typical chefs knife is always harder to use, bulky, unstable kind of vibe
