@bestfriendsanimalsociety: When Hurricane Helene hit Asheville, Best Friends Animal Society and Sister Kitten joined forces to help out. Together we’ve been helping the community get back on its feet by delivering desperately needed supplies to impacted residents, both four and two legged.  This work has inspired so many nationwide to contribute to these efforts by donating online or even delivering trucks of donations in person!  If you also want to help, Best Friends is asking people to adopt or foster a dog or cat from your local shelter to help the animals affected by Hurricanes Helene & Milton. By adopting or fostering from your local shelter or rescue, you'll make room for dogs and cats from shelters affected by the storms.
