Yes! I felt like it was Ymir’s doing, I also feel like Eren partnering with Ymir is the only reason the Attack Titan can see through time. Plus Ymir said that Mikasa was the only one that could save

I'm pretty sure this isn't theory but reality, but I want to point out that a key point of AOT is the loop. Ymir had to create conditions in which Eren would be born as he was in order to become (1/x)
