Both salami and drinkable yogurt are relativly new staples in the Balkans, when I was a young kid my grandpa and grandma would eat home made soured milk and liver.

protip for salting your vegetables, unload the salt into your plate on a small pile and dip tomato slices, or replace the salt entirely with Vegeta (seasoning, not character), it's a balkan staple
