I managed to release alot of shame when I realised that the harsh inner critic was my mother's and not mine. it takes conscious work to reparent yourself

it's so exhausting trying to heal 😪 I have been in therapy for months and I'm just not getting it. always being told to talk to my inner child and I don't get it

My Mum who I loved very much, had massive reactions to things. We were always nervous constantly checking what mood she was in. We were so scared of her and yet loved her so much. When Mum was in a good mood us kids were like puppy dogs. The last few years I have been so stuck. I can barely leave the house. You know that quick deep breathing you do after you have had a good cry. My body does that all day and I haven't been crying. I need help but I see that so many people need help too. I'm looking forward to hearing more from you. I'm ready to heal
