Easy protein jalapeño cheddar bagels✨ Recipe inspired by @skinnytaste 🤍. Thanks Gina! Bagels:▪️1 Cup All-Purpose Flour, plus more as needed▪️2 tsp Baking Powder▪️3/4 tsp Kosher Salt▪️1 Tbsp Chopped Jalapeños, seeds removed▪️1/4 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese▪️1 Cup Plain Greek Yogurt▪️ On top:▪️1/2 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese▪️12 Thin Round Jalapeño Slices▪️ 1️⃣ Preheat the oven to 375F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 2️⃣ Mix together the flour, baking powder and salt. Add the chopped jalapeños and cheddar and mix. Add the Greek yogurt and mix until a shaggy dough forms and all flour is incorporated. 3️⃣ Sprinkle a cutting board with flour and empty the dough onto the cutting board. Knead a few times until the dough comes together into a ball. Sprinkle the dough and cutting board with more flour as needed if the dough is sticky. 4️⃣ Cut the dough in half, then cut each piece in half again to create four balls. Roll each ball into a rope (about 3/4-inch thick) and join the ends, pinching the dough together. Make sure the hole in the middle is at least 1" wide. 5️⃣ Place the bagels on the baking sheet and sprinkle 2 Tbsp cheddar cheese on each. (You can flatten the tops of the bagels slightly if the cheese is slipping off. It's okay if some cheese falls in the hole, it will crisp up in the oven!) Place 3 jalapeño slices on each bagel. 6️⃣ Bake for about 25 mins until the cheese is melted and bagels are golden brown.
