Suit making used to look like rocket science to me. There was a time when I was known mainly for blouses and kiddies outfits. Looking at a well-structured suit, I honestly wondered, How do people even draft this thing? But I kept learning, practicing and simplifying the process until I discovered that suit making isn’t as complicated as it looks when you understand the right techniques. And that is exactly why I created this class. I am taking you through the process of creating single-breasted peak lapel, single-breasted notch lapel and double-breasted peak lapel suits in a way that is practical and easy to understand. We’ll also cover the things that give your suit that professional, luxury finish. 1.Proper pattern drafting 2.Chest canvas 3.Good Shoulder pads 4.Sleeve wadding 5.Jacket construction 6.Lapel construction 7.Professional finishing techniques And yes, the suits you see in this video are the kind of results you can work towards after learning the techniques properly.
