@kadethecorso: Replying to @hannahdawidowicz harnesses can be amazing if used ethically. i unfortunately can’t confidently say that a harness would be ethical in our situation. #dogsoftiktok #bigdogsoftiktok #dogtok #dogreactivity #dogcommunity #dogtools

Love the way you take ur time to explain in videos, we use a harness on Leo simply because his neck is very thin so he can just wiggle himself out of collars, he’s also only 10lb so holding him back-

(pointing out a different perspective) ive found i have less control on a collar, i have never tried a prong tho, so i always preferred a harness. i prefer them on all dogs i have had/walked,

I use a harness on my reactive dog because it gives me 2 places to hang onto, one on her rer back and one on her shoulders, + the handle on her actual coler, for me using a harness gives me more

Ppl forget that the dog chooses if a tool is aversive or not. What works for your dog, might not work for another.

Yanking on a prong doesn’t damage the dogs neck at all if fitted properly and if it has a trach plate, your dogs prong is both. So it doesn’t matter why you want to use it

I still choose to use a prong on my 35lbs reactive/aggressive dog even if she's tiny. she would 100% bite someone if given the chance and like you stated she gets more frustrated in a harness

I think all dogs & owners should know how to use all tools that could be or is in their tool box. All gear has how to use it on the packaging. And if in doubt ask a professional.
