I noticed it when my sister passed. She passed in the hospital and for the hour after when we cleaned and brushed her hair, I refused to left go of her hand. It took so much to let go of her.

I know EXACTLY what you mean when you say he wasn't "there". It's hard to explain to those who have never seen their loved ones dead but when mine passed I truly felt their spirit had left this world.
