Examples would be Indy & Sophie they could not sustain a pregnancy with a foal on their side. They could be many factors, my first thought were those foals were gigantic!

In the wild herds are matriarchal, meaning the mares are in charge! if they don't want to be bred they won't let a stud mount, and if they're not healthy they won't carry a baby 🥰 they're pretty cool
