I’m many months late on sharing the content from this amazing fashion show I got to walk in this past October for @toki, but this one was difficult to share. This show was very inconveniently timed with the right side of my body going numb 🫠 Yea, you read that right, I walked in this show without being able to feel half of my body, including my leg and foot which you kind of need for a runway walk 💀 But I refused to let that stop me or show when I was on the runway 🖤 This show meant too much to me! Modeling for Toki is the #1 reason I decided to start modeling. I wanted to encourage her to make her designs in plus sizes and she made this dress, her first plus sized design, knowing she had me to walk in it. Walking in this show was a reminder that you can create change when you speak up and offer your resources to aid in that progress. Representing the plus sized community was far more important to me than my temporary comfort!
