You need to escalate this directly with Samsung corporate. At the store level they have no power or discretion to do anything.

Ex-Samsung user here. I had warranty issues with my s2, s4 mini, s8+, and had to battle Samsung each time. Went to iPhone and had an issue and they gave me a brand new phone. wasn't under Apple Care either. This is why Apple wins for me.

I would take off the screen protector and go to a different store and say nothing about it. If that doesn't work call corporate.

Never had any problematiek with Samsung, replacement tv screens even when tv was almost 2 years okd, also replacement batterij for free with an almost 2 year old phone, plus replaced a whole phone 1.

call samsung directly ... I have NEVER had this customer service from samsung and I have had them most of my life .... I rarely have to contact them tho ... I use their chat if I need it
