Hey everyone, I’m Aliyah and most of you know me from a viral dancing video 2 years ago, I’ve since shared surface content with the occasional breakthrough post when my feelings became too much to handle. Lots of you know, well my YouTube babes know a little more about my toxic relationships with parents or the fact I married out of my culture and religion to a Muslim but other than that you don’t know much more and not much detail as to why either. But once thing that does seem so apparent to me is how much you love and celebrate me and my strength for the person I am today, I feel it’s only fair to share with you the person and people I’ve been on the days prior to hopefully give you guys something to reflect on too. I shared with you last year the unexpected death of my mom before I flew to Bali to really begin a complete life reset. I’ll be honest in February last year I’d already started the process but internally I never thought It’d include losing my one and only parent. But now I’m in space where I’ve grown, I’ve become more self aware, I’ve come out of the darkest tunnel i never thought I’d see the other side of and all whilst keeping up appearances of my fun loving everyday life. I know I’m healed now, I feel my heart acknowledge my healing in the mirror as it gazes back at my reflection and I suppose I’m now ready to share the true Aliyah. From start to finish, everything. I want to tell you all the things I wish I could have heard or related too over the past 15 years and be a voice for so many voiceless. So unaesthetically BUT POLITELY let’s get Mr @Paul Carrick Brunson to help to dive through this on his @We Need To Talk podcast as I see no other platform more suited. Handing you your power, now I’ve found mine✨
