@dianadarcyyy: I always wonder like- did you carry the wood up? Did you helicopter it?? Did you build it on the ground then bring it up? How did you get the ground flat for it on top of volcanic rock?? With iron mountain, it was once a fire lookout and they dynamited the area where they built their fire look out in the 1920sish, and for the first viewing structure they carried it up. then in the 1970’s they helicoptered the new one. When it was decomissioned they created this viewport! #Hiking #camping #Outdoors
