my thirdgen hood is very thin fiberglass, I removed the hinges and have 4 hood pins, I put the hood on the roof when I open it 😂

I did this to an impala I had, we actually kept the original, we cut the inner part of the coil shorter & shaped itso that it still fits the OEM hinges & after trial and error it looked OEM.

Why remove a factory hood? G bodies are appreciating every day. Stock looks much better. Too much unnecessary work
