1. I'm sorry this happened to you. I just had to send my z flip 6 in to get fixed because I had the black screen and couldn't do anything. Only had it 3 months and was very careful with it

I will say the screen on the flips is a "soft" screen and long nails can dig into the screen and damage it. But where those indents is nowhere close to where the actual issue is.

try the google pixel 9 pro xl it's far nicer than the Samsung phone moved over from an iPhone and I'm in love with it

It's crazy because I've never had this amount of trouble with a warranty claim. It's always been resolved quickly. Something doesn't sound right.
