@adventuresintohx: Deep in the woods on timber property, we stumbled upon the deepest, creepiest open well we’ve ever found — hidden near an old homesite on top of Oak Mountain. Can you imagine this being hand-dug by settlers in the 1820s-1830s? Square-dug and eerily silent, it’s a wild reminder of what’s lurking off the beaten path. Always keep your eyes open when exploring—these hidden dangers are everywhere! Comment if you want me to go back and film looking down it with a flashlight.
