Man, it’s not 24/7. But my local diner, the millstone, is legitimately my favorite place for this exact reason. Feeds my inner old soul. So peaceful and nice to eat some good food and chat

Waffle House has filled this gap for me. I drive about 20 hrs a week and they’re everywhere here in the south. I’ve learned what’s cheap and filling, and love the atmosphere. In and out for $8
